Bottom fishing is the most traditional style of boat fishing in the Mediterranean: we drop the bait onto the reefs, rocky banks and fishing grounds of the Bay of Málaga that our skipper knows inside out, home to sea bream, white seabream, grouper and dentex. It's a relaxed, easy-to-learn technique, perfect for your first fishing trip — we provide the boat, the rods and the local know-how; you just feel for the bite and reel it in.

What will you catch?
Depending on the season and the area, it's common to catch reef and bottom species, the most prized in the Mediterranean. Our skipper knows where they move each season, so we never fish blind.
It means dropping the bait right down to the seabed, over the rocky reefs and fishing grounds our skipper knows along the Costa del Sol, where sea bream, white seabream, grouper and dentex live. Once it's down there, you just keep the line tight and watch for the bite.
It's the most classic way to fish at sea: a calm, easy-going technique, ideal if you've never held a rod. We bring the boat, the gear and the local knowledge.
Yes. Our boat holds a recreational sea-fishing permit, so you don't need a licence of your own to fish on board.

A great experience. We were complete beginners, and Arturo was not only a great teacher with endless patience, he was also brilliant with my 14-year-old son. We had a great day and caught quite a lot. Arturo has a lot of experience and we can't wait to go back. We went out with them again some time later and the experience couldn't have been better. As always, Arturo is a real star.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon fishing with them and it was a wonderful experience. It was our son's birthday present, but it turned out to be a gift for all four of us. Your boat is private for your group: you book the whole trip, up to 6 people, and it's never shared with other groups or strangers.
The catch is yours. Our skipper cleans the fish for you — included in the trip — so you can take it home ready to cook.
Depending on the season and the area, it's common to catch sea bream, red-banded seabream, red porgy, pandora, white seabream, rockfish, conger eel, forkbeard, moray eel, dentex, octopus and pollack: reef and bottom species, the most prized in the Mediterranean.
The boat takes a maximum of 6 people and help is always close at hand if you need it.
We offer two slots, early morning (7:30am) or afternoon (4:00pm) — you choose the one that suits you best.
